David Fiedler
President

Dave has been at the national headquarters of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) since 1995, serving in a number of capacities across the organization during that time. Prior to his current role as president of the LCMS Foundation, a position he assumed in 2013, he was the executive director of the LCMS General Services Department from 2007-2013; From 1997-2005 he held positions in the LCMS Human Resources Department. Dave started his career at the organization as a major gifts development officer with the LCMS Foundation, raising money for LCMS World Mission.

Dave has a bachelor’s degree in German and Political Science, and a master’s degree in Business. He has attended trust schools offered by Cannon Financial and held SPHR certification through the Society for Human Resources Management.

He is the author of four books and a frequent public speaker. He has written for a number of newspapers and magazines including HR Magazine, Workforce and Human Resource Executive. His work has appeared in the Wall Street Journal online edition and has been carried by the Associated Press and the New York Times Syndicate.

Allen Helms
Senior Vice President for Gift Planning Services

Allen Helms is the Senior Vice President – Gift Planning Services for the LCMS Foundation, a position he’s held since September 2012. In that role, he has responsibility for assisting fifteen Gift Planning Counselors deployed across the country in their work of helping Lutheran Christian stewards make the very best gifts to family and ministries when God calls them to heaven.

After beginning his career as a Lutheran elementary school teacher, Allen spent 25 years as a Certified Public Accountant in financial management and accounting for two different manufacturing companies in Memphis, Tennessee. In 2002, he began service as the Executive Assistant to the Mid-South District President (LCMS), also based in Memphis, until he came to the Foundation.

Allen graduated from Concordia University – Nebraska in Seward, Nebraska with a Bachelor of Science in Education. He earned a Master’s Degree in Accountancy from the University of Memphis in 1985 and is a licensed CPA.

He and his wife Rhoda live in the St. Louis area. They have two adult children.

Tina Clasquin
Senior Vice President for Trust Services and Customer Support

Tina Clasquin began her career at the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod headquarters in June 1986 with the Lutheran Church Extension Fund. In March 1999, Tina was called to serve as Trust Administrator for the LCMS Foundation supporting the donors, beneficiaries, congregations and ministries on more than 1,200 accounts totaling over $300 Million in assets. Tina currently serves as the Vice President, Trust Administration and Support. Her responsibilities include directing the Gift Processing, Legal and Gift Design, Trust Administration, and Reporting functions of the organization.

Tina earned her Associate Degree in Accounting from Southwestern Illinois College and her Bachelor and Master of Business Administration Degrees from Fontbonne University. Tina holds the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation from the state of Missouri and is a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA).

Tina is married to Todd and they have two children, Caitie and Andrew. Tina and her family are members of Faith Lutheran Church in Columbia, IL. She serves her congregation in many volunteer capacities but especially enjoys singing for Sunday worship. Tina also loves spending time with her family and watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball.

Mark Cannon
Senior Vice President for Finance and Administration

Mark is Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer for the LCMS Foundation.  Prior to joining the Foundation in 2013, Mark worked in the corporate sector for 20 years, serving in a variety of financial reporting, management, and analysis roles, primarily in the banking industry.  He earned a B.A. in Economics from Washington University, an M.A. in Economics from Vanderbilt University, and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Mark is responsible for all Investment, Finance and Administrative areas of the Foundation.  He leads the Foundation’s Investment team, working closely with the Foundation’s investment committee and fund managers to monitor the Foundation’s $900 million in assets.  He leads a team of 11 at the Foundation to manage Investments, Accounting, and Information Technology.

Mark and his wife Cristyn are both from St. Louis, and have been married since 1996.  They have three children, and are active members at St. Paul’s in Des Peres, Missouri, where Mark serves on the church council and Cristyn works as a teacher.  Mark was an adjunct professor of finance for four years, and has volunteered extensively in the St. Louis area.  He enjoys biking, golf, and coaching his children’s sports teams.

Blake Tilley
Senior Vice President for Marketing/Communications

Blake has worked for the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) for 16 years. In 1998, he joined Concordia Publishing House as a software technician and national trainer for the church database software Shepherd’s Staff. In 2004, he joined the LCMS Foundation’s gift planning team. Then in 2008, Blake was named Director of Internet and Gift Planning Communications and took over the management of the Foundation’s websites, LCMS online giving and e-marketing campaigns. In 2010 he was named Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications, responsible for executing the gift planning/investment marketing and promotion for the Foundation.

Blake was born and raised in Cape Girardeau, Mo. He has bachelor degrees in marketing, fine arts, and a master’s degree in business administration. Blake is a former missionary serving outside Brisbane, Australia and in Guatemala.

Blake is married to Amy and has three sons, Quinn, Eli, and Calvin. In his spare time, he enjoys being outdoors, retro video games, playing guitar and reading. The Tilley’s are members of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Brentwood, Mo.
