About the featured speaker
Carol von Soosten is a gift planning counselor trained by the LCMS Foundation, serving the donors of the LWML. She joined as the LWML's second full-time planned giving counselor in 2019. A lifelong Lutheran with more than 30 years of service in the LWML, Carol has a BA in communication from Concordia, Nebraska, and extensive experience in leadership and development roles at organizations like Washburn University and the Topeka Lutheran School Foundation. Carol is passionate about helping individuals create charitable estate plans that support their families and ministries, reflecting her desire to share Christ’s love and grow God’s kingdom.

The webinar is designed to be informative and practical, providing attendees with the tools and knowledge needed to begin to take the first steps toward creating their own charitable estate plan. Participants will also learn how LWML and the LCMS Foundation work together to support their charitable goals.
